Portugal hosted, on March 18th, the closing conference of the project “Fostering the transparency of judicial decisions and improving the national implementation of the European Convention on Human Rights” of the Council of Europe, which had the support of the Superior Council of the Judiciary .
The project, which for two years had as beneficiaries Cyprus, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovenia, sought to support the harmonization of national jurisprudence and human rights standards established in the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights, contributing, thus, to prevent violations of the aforementioned Convention.
