The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold, on 3 October 2019 at the OIC Headquarters in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, an open-ended meeting of the Steering Committee on Youth and Sports. The meeting, to be held under the chairmanship of Azerbaijan as the incumbent chair of the 4th ministerial youth conference, will discuss and adopt the draft Plan of Action for the implementation of the OIC Youth Strategy that was previously examined during a meeting held on 13 February 2019.
Participants from Member States and OIC institutions will review and adopt the draft Plan prepared by the General Secretariat in collaboration with relevant OIC institutions. They will also share their experiences and success stories on youth-related issues, topping the national priorities of Member States.
