The Great Victory Day was celebrated with due solemnity and enthusiasm at the Bangladesh Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark. In the morning, the newly appointed ambassador to Denmark. K. M. Shahidul Karim inaugurated the day-long program by hoisting the national flag. Later in the presence of all the officers and employees in the embassy hall, the speeches of the President, Prime Minister, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs were read out and special prayers were offered for the souls of all the martyrs of the great liberation war.
