Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Ambassador Mauro Vieira, who is leading a 29-member high officials and a robust trade delegation, arrived this morning on a 2-day maiden visit to Bangladesh. Foreign Secretary (Senior Secretary) Ambassador Masud Bin Momen warmly welcomed the Brazilian Minister at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
During the historic visit, the Brazilian Minister is expected to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi-32, pay courtesy call on the Prime Minister and meet with the Foreign Minister and State Minister for Commerce. He will also visit to state-of-the art pharmaceuticals and Ready Made Garments (RMG) facilities near Dhaka.
