As part of “Japan Fest 2018”, 2 Japanese animation films, “Pop in Q” (Director: Naoki Miyahara) and “Children Who Chase Lost Voices” (Director: Makoto Shinkai) were screened at the main auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum on 22 September. Many film lovers and animation fans enjoyed these block buster animation movies from Japan.
A young Japanese animation enthusiast, Mr. Md. Humayon Kabir said that the films were not merely a medium of entertainment. Japanese animation film is an art, especially those produced by Director Makoto Shinkai and Director Hayao Miyazaki. We are eager to watch more Japanese animations. ’
The Embassy of Japan, Japan Foundation and Bangladesh National Museum organised this screening to introduce Japanese animation and contemporary culture to Bangladeshi youth.
