UAE Aid and UAE embassy to Bangladesh completed a children treatment Campaign at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases & Hospital at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka.

UAE-based charity organization Sharjah Charity International in collaboration with UAE Aid and UAE embassy to Bangladesh completed a children treatment Campaign at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases &Hospital at ShereBangla Nagarin Dhaka, on April 24-28.

About 61 Children withcongenital heart diseasehave beentreated by UAE doctor AhmodKamali, Safar AL Shahrani and hossain Abu Zamila and among 28 were made operation by urinary catheterization.

It is needed to mention that, a congenital heart Disease is a problem with the structure of the heart. Congenital heart defects are the most common type of birth defect. The defects can involve the walls of the heart; itcan disrupt the normal flow of blood through the heart.

Dr. Gazi Md. Zahirul Islam, Director of Sharjah Charity International, Dhaka, said, congenital heart defects are the most common birth defects and they need to do operation but it is not possible for many distress people so Sharjah Charity is continuing this treatment every year.

‘‘Many people have been benefited by the Sharjah Charity initiatives and they are also grateful to this charity organizations’’ he added.
