In Timor-Leste, the Minister of State and Foreign Affairs In Timor-Leste the Minister of State and Foreign Affairs Paulo Rangel spoke at the conference marking the 25th anniversary of the creation of Interfet.

He spoke about the role of the Portuguese people and State in Timor-Leste’s independence and highlighted the exemplary way in which Timor-Leste, Indonesia and Australia refounded their relationship.
