Report by Humayun Kabir from Lisbon, Portugal. Today A job fair has taken place in Lisbon where more than 5000 of which 2000 students and 3000 general job seekers participated in the event.
In the Day-long Job Fair organized by Bolsa De Empregabilidade. pt, more than 110 different types of companies mostly Hotels and restaurants participated and offered jobs to the job seekers in their various positions and directly received their CVs at the event.
Besides, at the Job fair held in Sala Tejo – Altice Arena – Lisbon, Several companies also offered their free training courses on different subjects like Hotel and Management, Tourism section, Marketing, IT, and so on.
But hundreds of job seekers were seen standing outside in the queue till the end of the fair due to not having the QR code. Despite having registration of job seekers Without the QR code of this Job Fair, they were not able to participate in the fair.
António Marto, President of the Fórum Turismo and Founder of The Employment Exchange said, We are very excited to start this new chapter of Job Fairs and return to Lisbon, a region of extreme importance for the country’s tourism sector. We hope to provide new possibilities and valuable connections for the professionals and companies present, as well as foster the search for opportunities through our employment platform.
